“Just as the major leagues develop their minor leaguers, Victory develops the youth we serve and helps them achieve their full potential,” says Coach Melvin Howard, Victory’s president/founder.  “This is an important fundraising event for us and we want to encourage all attendees to bring their checkbooks as I will surely be asking them for donations. With the money raised at this event, we will be able to continue and better serve all the very deserving students we work with in our program.”

 

Headlining the event is Michael Ward, who has taken the violin to another level in Jazz, Funk, and R&B. With five CD’s to his credit, and more than 100 recordings, Ward has emerged as one of the leading studio violinist in the business working with such artists as B.B. King and Wynton Marsalis.
