Chris Brubeck, of the famed Brubeck jazz family, brings his trio, Triple Play, to Gulfport concert
series Arts Under The Dome on Saturday, May 12 at 7:00 PM in a memorable concert that jazz
and blues fans won’t want to miss.
Triple Play, featuring Chris Brubeck (trombone, bass and piano), Peter Madcat Ruth (harmonica,
jaw harp, percussion) and Joel Brown (acoustic guitar) have been performing together since
1999. With all three contributing vocals, the group showcases a great repertoire of Delta blues,
Tin Pan Alley standards, New Orleans grooves, jazz gems and incisive originals. Collectively they
bring a rare level of joy, humor, virtuosity and American spirit to the music they perform.
The venue is First United Methodist Church at 2301 15 th St. (corner of 24 th Ave.) in downtown
