Experience the spirit of Mardi Gras in the back streets with these events happening Mardi Gras morning!

Northside Skull & Bone Gang will start at 5am Mardi Gras morning at 2500 Bayou Road at The Church of "I Am That I Am," also known as the King and Queen Emporium International.

Mystic Seven Sisters step out at the corner of Barracks & Treme St. at 5am for the 9th annual Carnival morning Blessing Ceremony and free breakfast. Voodoo Queen Kalindah Laveaux and the Mystic Seven Sisters will honor the Ancestors while cleansing and blessing the Historic Treme with sacred herbs, drums, and Creole songs. They will host a free breakfast for the community at Lil' People's Places (1226 Barracks St.) afterwards.
