REAL/Mardi Gras Indian council will be celebrating the 40th annual Super Sunday Festival from 12 pm - 6pm.

At 1 pm, Indian Strut starts with several brass bands (Big 6, Young Pinstripe, Keep It Rolling) and YMO, Ladies Buck Jumpers, Prince of Wales along with the N’Awlins D’Awlins Baby Dolls to kickoff it off in front of the Mardi Gras Indian Council building at 2608 LaSalle St.  

You are invitd to witness Mardi Gras Indians elaborate suits from across the city! Join us for music, food, and dancing. There will be an Indian stage and R&B stage in the park, and a block party outside near the Dew Drop Inn. in the 2800 block of LaSalle St. The lineup for music includes: DJ Maniac, DJ Slick Leo, DJ Captain Charles, DJ Jubilee, Lucky Lou, Keedy Black, Mr. Greg Stanford (MC), B.R.W. Band, Rechelle and the Regeneration Band, and Hot 8 Brass Band.

This festival is held to celebrate the New Orleans African American Community Culture.
