Volksfest Come and celebrate Spring and the end of a long winter at the Deutsches Haus Volksfest on Friday, March 31 4:00 – 10 pm and Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. Music will be provided by the Bier Musikanten, the Bayou Bavarians and Prosit. The Maypole Dancers will perform throughout the festival and will encourage audience participation. Wine and Schnapps tasting will be part of the festival. Tickets for the German-Austrian Wine Tasting is $20.00 and $20.00 for Schnapps tasting. Tickets are available at deutscheshaus.org/tickets. The Deutsches Haus is located at 1700 Moss St with limited parking available on the grounds.
