Director of Peña Flamenca La Pepa María José Salmerón, welcomes Spanish superstars Alfonso Losa Flamenco and Vanesa Coloma from Madrid Spain, to New Orleans to inaugurate the premiere of the New Orleans Chateau Flamenco Festival Gala night debut of "PRENDIDOS" - "LIT".  They will be accompanied by amazing flamenco guitarist, Jose Manuel Alconchel from Jerez de la Frontera Spain, and Jose Cortes from Southern France on vocals to bring a beautiful and special evening to our city. Master artists classes will take place from November 2-4 @ Peña La Pepa uptown.

This first-of-its-kind event will feature master artists direct from Spain and highlight our New Orleans culture, reviving a tradition that was strong in the city some decades ago when flamenco dancer Teresa Torkanowsky invited her colleagues from Spain to perform with her in a flamenco tablao that later came to be known as Chateau Flamenco located in the French Quarter.
