The French Market is open 10am – 5pm daily, featuring vendors and our Farmers Market with eateries and café style seating.

Since 1791, the historic French Market has remained an enduring symbol of pride and progress for the people of New Orleans. In over 200 years of existence, the Market has been built, destroyed, and rebuilt many times over, but what remains unchanged is the Market’s central spirit of commerce, community, and culture that is irresistible to visitors from near and far.

11am-4pm | The inaugural Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at the French Market will feature a full day of live music curated by Ecos Latinos, Hispanic and Latino food booths, and community organizations. The Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration honors the people, traditions, and achievements, of the Hispanic Latino communities in New Orleans. Performances by Julio & Cesar Duo, Aquarela 4tet, Alexis Guevara and Son Mandao, Arpa with The Garifuna Connection & Angel Rios, and Merengue 4. Food vendors include El Gato Negro, La Chilanga, LA MILPA, Numada, and Punto Criollo
