Estado de Los Unidos y La Migracíon del Arte ~ State of the United and the Migration of Art

Closing Reception of Latin American, Indigenous, and Caribbean art show and exhibition at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation Gallery.

The closing reception will feature an interactive graffiti altar led by artists "Retro" Jacob and "Bocho" Ascencio. A poem recitation from Edith Romero and performances by singer L.O.L.A., dancer Catalina Reyna, and drummer Orlando Primo. Face painting by artist, Katherine Paredes for those who want to get into the spirit.

With over 30 artists and performers responding to this bilingual open call, the exhibition showcases paintings, photography, glass, ceramic, metalwork, mixed media, poetry, fashion, and video.
