Day 20 - Saturday November 14

10 am - 12 pm on Weekend New Orleans - Zachary Richard live performance and interview at WWOZ, 2018
In 2018, during French Quarter Fest, Zachary Richard joined show host Ron Phillips on air at WWOZ for an interview and informal performance. We've resurrected this great recording with a giant of Louisiana music.

Day 21 - Sunday November 15

12 pm, Buce Daigrepont, live from Super Bowl Boulevard in 2013.
When the Super Bowl was held in New Orleans, special concerts with New Orleans musicians were staged on what was called "Super Bowl Boulevard." WWOZ was there to capture and broadcast many of these sets, including this one by the Cajun great, Bruce Daigrepont.

Day 22 - Monday November 16

6 pm - Roy Hargrove, live at the Telluride Jazz Festival, 2007.
In 2007, WWOZ's remote broadcast trucks made the trip all the way to Telluride, Colorado, and one of the artists we broadcast from the Telluride Jazz Festival was the trumpeter Roy Hargrove, with a set that has not been heard since we first aired it..

Day 23 - Tuesday November 17

10 am - Highlights from WWOZ's School Groove
WWOZ's acclaimed School Groove program brings the best middle school and high school bands from around the New Orleans area to the radio station, for a full professional broadcast experience. Producer Leslie Cooper is bringing us highlights from these amazing performances by the future stars of New Orleans music.

Day 24 - Wednesday November 18

12 pm - John Mooney, live at Jazz Fest 1998
Described as John's "comeback set," this performance in the Blues Tent at Jazz Fest is remembered as one of the great highlights of the entire history of the festival.

Day 25 - Thursday November 19

9-11 am, during Traditional Jazz with Sally Young - June Gardner and the Fellows, live in the Economy Hall Tent at Jazz Fest in 2001
Legendary drummer and bandleader "Gentleman" June Gardner is joined by a band featuring Leroy Jones on trumpet, Craig Klein on trombone, and Peter "Chuck" Badie on bass, for a great set of traditional New Orleans jazz.

Day 26 - Friday November 20

12 pm - Henry Butler, live from WWOZ Piano Night 2007
Show host Black Mold brings us a smoking-hot rare live set from the New Orleans piano legend Henry Butler, backed by Shannon Powell on drums, Renard Poche on guitar, and Donald Ramsey on bass.
