With the holiday season upon us, it is high time that we announce this year’s annual Chinquapin Records Holiday Social. Yes, we’re doing it again, but this time around we are stepping it up a notch. This year’s event will be a two-nighter, the weekend of December 7th - 8th, and is sure to feature plenty of rock and roll raucousness, complete with a bit of yuletide flair. The weekend will kick off on Friday night at Saturn Bar with Native America and Babes, joined by touring acts Boyfrndz (Austin, TX) and Proud Father (Jacksonville, FL). The party continues Uptown on Saturday night at Prytania Bar with Donovan Wolfington, New Lands, and Hello Chief (Beaumont, TX). Both nights start at 9 PM, are 18+, and will be for $6, with one dollar from each ticket sale going to Apex Youth Center of New Orleans. So, this December, come out in your finest ugly sweaters and other holiday fashions and join us for not one, but two nights of wintertime musical celebration!
