The Greater New Orleans Out of the Darkness Walk has been scheduled to Saturday, December 11th. We’re proceeding with the hope that we can gather together in person, and the health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers will be our top priority as our plans develop. Our annual Walk will take place at LaSalle Park in Metairie, LA, with the hope that we can return to New Orleans in 2022. No matter what, we'll continue to offer options to participate online and in your neighborhood, so you can show up in the ways that are most comfortable for you. Registration begins 9am and event is 10am-12pm. We're moving forward with plans to host our Out of the Darkness Community Walks in person beginning fall 2021. The health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers will be our top priorities as we work with local authorities to make decisions about event details, and we'll continue to offer options to participate online and in your neighborhood. Now, more than ever, it’s important to be there for one another and take steps to safeguard our mental health and prevent suicide.
