Tonight on the Kitchen Sink in tribute to the late great Fird "Snooks" Eaglin, the laboratory scientists will be cooking up a rare recording of Snooks Eaglin live at the Chicago Blues Fest in 1989. Irving Charles and Johnny V. accompany him throughout the set and special guests on two cuts include Allen Toussaint and Dr. John.

This tape comes courtesy of the secret lair of the Hersch Daemon.

not fair!!!

it's time to archive these shows, for both those of us on earth and all space jazz aliens.

And that is to tribute to Snooks.
Unfortunately David's show starts at 5am our time...
Too late to stay up and way too early to get up. ;-)

But your show starts when office hours are finished -
reckon a lot of people here coming home looking forward
to the NOMS and love to hear some Snooks.

To archive these shows is a solid idea !
And imho it would be almost like the ultimate tribute.
