1) Turn on our live video stream on Saturday night as we bring you the Kyle Roussel Organ Trio from the final Jazz & Heritage Foundation free concert of the season. There are two sets happening at the Jazz & Heritage Center. One starts at 8p and one at 9:30p. We will be live video streaming from the earlier set. A graduate of the famed New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and the University of New Orleans, Kyle Roussel began playing the piano at age nine, studying classical music before moving on to perform in church and explore jazz in his teenage years.  These days, Kyle is equally adept in the worlds of jazz, classical, funk, gospel, rhythm and blues, and rock. He currently performs all around the world with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. He has worked with a huge variety of artists, including the Headhunters, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Christian Scott, Donald Harrison Jr., Delfeayo Marsalis, John Boutte, Shannon Powell, Roland Guerin, Bonerama, Glen David Andrews, Mia Borders, Khris Royal and Topsy Chapman.

2) The 12th annual Faubourg St. John Bastille Day Block Party is happening on Saturday between 4:30 and 9:30p. Performers include Harmonouche with Raphael Bas and Crooked Vines, Cynthia Scott, and Ukulele Jake. There will be a costume contest with a prize for the best Napoleon or Marie Antoinette costume. Everyone is welcome. The New Orleans Museum of Art will also be hosting a Bastille Day Fête, on Friday, July 13 from 6-9p. Check out all of the local Bastille Day happenings.

3) San Fermin in Nueva Orleans is going down from Friday through Sunday. The big run starts on Saturday at 6:30a from The Sugar Mill. San Fermin in Nueva Orleans pays homage to the world famous Encierro of Pamplona, Spain, or "The Running of the Bulls." One small difference – these bulls are none other than the Big Easy Rollergirls and participants from other roller derby leagues across the country!

4) Rewind! Check out all of our recent live video streams here, including last week's sets from James Singleton, Nahum Zybdel, and Susanne Ortner and the students from the Louis Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp

5) A few highlights currently on our 2-week archive (click each link to be taken straight to the appropriate show): the annual Ernie K-Doe show, the always classic R&B Oldies with Rare on the Air, a hot set from Jazz From The French Market with T.R. Johnson, and Henry Butler's entire live set from Jazz Fest 2002. Or find your own!
