The nominations for the 2017 Grammy Awards are out and many Louisiana artists are up to receive big honors. Nominees with Louisiana ties include Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers for Top of the Mountain (Best Regional Roots Music Album), Lost Bayou Ramblers for Kalenda (Best Regional Roots Music Album), Sonny Landreth for Recorded Live in Lafayette (Best Contemporary Blues Album), and PJ Morton for Gumbo (Best R&B Album) and its opening track 'First Began' (Best R&B Song).
