1) Tipitina's is celebrating 40 years this weekend with two fantastic shows-- "A Neville Family Groove: Celebrating 40 Years of Music at Tipitina's with the First Family of Funk" on Friday, November 24 and "The Funkin' Truth: Celebrating 40 Years of Music at Tipitina's with Grammy Lifetime Award Recipient and 2018 Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame Nominee Leo Nocentelli" on Saturday, November 25.

2) The 12th annual "Draw-A-Thon" is happening at The Green Project (2831 Marais St) from 6:30a on Saturday, November 25 to 6:30a on Sunday, November 26. All skill levels and ages are welcome to participate in this huge creative collective project.

3) Tuesday, November 28 is #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. With that in mind, we are celebrating by featuring YOUR photos that you tagged #WWOZ-- be on the lookout for them on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages. WWOZ is community radio, and we are so grateful to social media for helping us see and hear from this wild world of 'OZillians across the globe, all connected by a love of New Orleans music. If you're inspired on this #GivingTuesday please join us and donate to WWOZ: bit.ly/2zyG1iU

4) The New Orleans Jazz Museum will celebrate the opening of the "Reel to 'Real'" exhibit on Thursday, November 30 from 6-9p. The exhibit is on loan from the Louis Armstrong House Museum in Queens and includes 28 square tape boxes that Louis Armstrong created over more than 20 years. The impressive array, culled from a collection of more than 500, provides a unique peek into the often-humorous mind of one of jazz's all-time greats. Free and open to the public.

5) Men & Lady Buckjumpers are stepping out on Sunday at noon! Get the route sheet from WWOZ's Takin' It To The Streets.
