Full performance from Cyril Neville & the Uptown Rulers live on the New Orleans Music Show show at WWOZ August 19, 2026! 

It was the perfect time to present Cyril with his own Guardian of the Groove honor, which now hangs on the walls of WWOZ alongside other greats like Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Ellis Marsalis, Marcia Ball, and Irma Thomas. Its inscription reads, "Cyril Neville, Singer, Songwriter, Percussionist, Legend."
