Ernie’s biggest fear is to be pigeon-holed as a plain-old bluesman. The Louisiana native stayed on the road for decades and put out some of his own records under the Kolab imprint in the 90’s. To this day, you can catch Ernie Vincent holding court at Sweet Lorraine’s Jazz Club or d.b.a’s and countless other haunts around the Crescent City.
