Dave Ferrato

Guitarist Dave Ferrato is a New Orleans native who has been on the scene since the 1960s, and has played with classic OG artists ranging from Ernie K-Doe and Benny Spellman to Johnny Adams and Pete Fountain. He cut his teeth on Bourbon Street, with legends like Chris Owens and Bobby Cure, in jingle and TV work, and with rock and soul band Rumboogie. He now leads his own horn-heavy group, Tchoupazine, and can be found at clubs and festivals around the Crescent City. The title cut to his post-Katrina album, “Later on Decatur,” remains a radio and live set favorite.
