On this week’s program we feature Susan Cowsill, a songwriter whose musical career started as a child with her family’s band, "The Cowsills." She continues to perform in New Orleans and today we listen to a performance recorded at New Orleans’s French Quarter Festival. We also catch up with Susan to hear about her latest solo recording, "Lighthouse." We also stop in at the Ogden Museum's event Ogden After Hours.

Later on in the show, we hear some upbeat tunes from the Lost Bayou Ramblers, a band that is turning new generations on to Cajun music with a unique mixture of the old and the new. Be sure to stay tuned as I interview the band about everything from cat bites to two-steps. Our Culinary Crossroads take us to a true New Orleans classic: Hubig's Pies!
