Lantern Light Ministry will sponsor its third annual gala, “Strolling Through New Orleans: Lantern Light Visits the Sounds of the Big Easy” on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the Alexander Room, 3200 Ridgelake Drive, Metairie, LA 70002. On almost every corner, the pulsating sounds of the city’s unique heritage and culture welcomes first time visitors to the Big Easy and preserves the loyalty of its citizens. As Lantern Light hosts its third annual gala, we celebrate the rhythmical expressions that make up the innovative vibrations of New Orleans and we also honor Hugo Kahn, longtime supporter of the ministry. The evening will feature great music compliments of Deacon John Moore and the Ivories and fine cuisine will be provided by local restaurants including Dooky Chase Restaurant, The Balcony, and Zea Rotisserie and Grill just to name a few. The evening, which promises to be filled with fantastic food and fun, will also feature a silent and live auction filled with great items. This year’s Gala is sponsored by Jazz Sponsor, Aetna Better Health of Louisiana and Mardi Gras Indian Sponsor, St. Catherine of Siena Church. Tickets for the event will go on sale April 25, 2022 and start at $100.00 with reserved seating and tables from $250.00 to $2,500.00. Purchases can be made at Lantern Light at the Rebuild Center, 1803 Gravier Street, NOLA 70112, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm or by going to eventbrite.com.
