Native New Orleanian led cultural event curation company Them People
Productions, is all about promoting, encouraging, and strengthening the New Orleans Black community through the
performing and culinary arts. After launching their virtual Black Artist spotlight series Whereabouts in 2020, they are
back with their first in person event in 2021, SOULidarity, a curated outside performance series highlighting Black
New Orleans based performers, vendors, culinary artists, food trucks, and community organizations with an emphasis
on networking, dancing, and Black Joy.

Our community organization spotlight this month will be on Young Starz of NOLA, a New Orleans youth-centered
alternative performing arts non-profit, with a priority and commitment to developing artists with and without
disabilities. Young Starz founder Raion Ramsey will be on site to speak briefly about their current initiatives with an
information and signup table that will also accept donations to further the great work they do in our city and beyond.
Glass Half Full NOLA will be collecting all glass during the event for glass recycling used to make sandbags that protect our coasts.
