For over ten years, Goat in the Road has been making original, award-winning theater work in New Orleans. The ensemble-based company is committed to synthesizing current social issues through the lens of history, and works with a diverse group of artists to build new performances from the ground up. At this Gallier Gathering, a panel featuring representatives from both Goat in the Road and Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses will offer insight into the research process for historically-based work (The Uninvited, The Stranger Disease), this unique collaboration, and how GRP writes and creates their work.
