Per(Sister) In Song

Friday, March 22, 2019 -
6:00pm to 8:00pm
Celebrate Women's History Month and Newcomb Art Museum's current exhibition "Per(Sister): Incarcerated Women of Louisiana" with a FREE concert featuring Lynn Drury, Sarah Quintana, Queen Koldmadina, Margie Perez, Keith Porteous, and Spirit McIntyre as they each perform brand new works inspired by the incredible stories of persistence from formerly incarcerated women. The concert will take place on Friday, March 22 from 6 to 8 pm at the Freeman Auditorium on Tulane University's uptown campus. The museum will be open late so that everyone can come and see the show that inspired the new songs. "PerSister in Song" is a once-in-a-lifetime event and is guaranteed to be a great time, so grab your friends and come celebrate the women of Louisiana in song! More information can be found at persister.info or by calling 504.314.2406 or emailing museum@tulane.edu.
