OffBeat Magazine presents the 20th Anniversary of its annual Best of the Beat Music Awards for 2013 on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Generations Hall (310 Andrew Higgins Drive). Doors are at 6 pm with musical performances until 1 am, and the awards presentation at 8 pm.

OffBeat announces this year's nominees today, December 19, and opens public voting online here. Any New Orleans music fan can vote to help determine who the 2013 Best of the Beat award winners will be. Public voting closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, January 10. Performers at the 2013 Best of the Beat Awards include Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Glen David Andrews, the Brass-A-Holics, Cheeky Blakk, Feufollet, Robin Barnes and an all-star tribute to this year's Lifetime Achievement Award honoree, Cyril Neville, with more to be announced.

Tickets also include food from more than 20 New Orleans restaurants and more.
