"Fan the Flame' is a new project in town dedicated to helping local New Orleans musicians and dancers succeed in the great big world. So many wonderful bands who have great roots here in our city have the talent, but they don't have the professionalism for funds to do anything other than play cover shows on Frenchman. This group aims to send talented artists overseas, get them record labels, so as to continue the long standing tradition of New Orleans music in the world for next generations.

 

On December 2, Fan the Flame will be hosting their inaugural fundraiser with performances from Waterseed, Daria & the Hip Drops, Mario Abney, and more. There will also be a presentation about the cause and and ask for money from the community.
