On Sunday, August 9th from 1pm - 3pm, we have a great creative storytelling/songwriting workshop at the Jefferson Parish East Bank Regional Library. The workshop will focus on how to tell a great story and turn it into a great song. By the end of the workshop all participants will have written an original song inspired by their personal story. 

Then on Saturday, August 29th, the library will host another special event where every song created and written in the workshop will be showcased to the public in an exciting Song Showcase Event.  Every participant will walk away with a produced MP3 of their new song!  If you are a musician, you're invited to bring your acoustic guitar to the workshop if you would like (just let me know in advance), however, you do not need to be a professional musician or songwriter to attend. All music lovers are welcome!
