Abita New Orleans
The Abita Brewing Company is nestled in the piney woods 30 miles north of New Orleans, Louisiana. In its first year, the brewery produced 1,500 barrels of beer. Local Louisianians and tourists alike, all loved the beers! By 1994, Abita Brewing outgrew the original site (Still open as a 100-seat brew pub and restaurant) and moved up the road to a larger facility to keep up with demand. Today they are still brewing exceptional ales and lagers but also small batch root beer, sodas, hop water and more! Always in small batches, hand-crafted and brewed for the Louisiana way of life, full flavored and easy drinking.
