On Saturday, June 13, Zeitgeist Theatre will host a special screening of UNIPOOPER, an interactive horror-comedy mockumentary written and directed by independent filmmaker Paul Dale.
Inspired by a real unsolved high school mystery, UNIPOOPER is a faux true-crime documentary that has evolved into a fully interactive live event. Audience members receive participation kits with props and interactive prompts, and the evening includes costume contests, drinking-game elements, audience call-backs, and surprise performer interactions throughout the screening.
Part true-crime parody, part immersive theater, and part midnight-movie spectacle, the event offers a unique communal film experience for New Orleans audiences.
