Competition finals for top ten high school bands from the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival's Class Got Brass? High School Brass Band Competition. 

A group of celebrity judges - including Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Gregory Davis (founder of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Dr. Michael White of the Original Liberty Jazz Band, former St. Augustine High School marching band director Virgil Tiller and several others – will select the winning bands.

The top-ranked band will win a gift certificate for $10,000 worth of instruments or instrument repair for their school’s music programs. The second-place band will win $6,000 for their school, with $4,000 going to the third-place school.

Deadline for application is March 16.
