This morning, French Quarter Festivals, Inc. (FQFI) announced that plans to host French Quarter Festival in October are no longer moving forward. At the City's direction and out of caution for the safety of fans, musicians, staff, and partners, French Quarter Festival and Satchmo SummerFest 2020 have been canceled. The next French Quarter Fest is planned for April 8-11, 2021. The next Satchmo SummerFest is planned for July 30 – August 1, 2021.

To ensure the festivals can survive this unprecedented situation and bring back their beloved events in 2021, they are also launching the "Resilience Campaign." Donors to FQFI will receive festival merchandise and recognition on their website. More information about the Resilience Campaign and FQFI is available at fqfi.org.
