Video: Women of Note at the New Orleans Jazz Museum

Published on: April 6th, 2018

New Orleans Jazz Museum Music Curator (and WWOZ show host) David Kunian walks us through the museum's fascinating "Women of Note" exhibition. The exhibit highlights the role of women in the evolution of New Orleans Jazz from its beginnings in the early 20th century to today’s vibrant music scene, from the era of Lil Hardin Armstrong and Sweet Emma Barrett to today with Meschiya Lake and Helen Gillet.
