1) LUNA Fête returns to Lafayette Square on Wednesday, December 6 for a three day run. This visionary initiative was created by the Arts Council New Orleans in 2014 to utilize our city's iconic landscape as the canvas for outdoor, public artworks created with light and technology. It's truly a sight to behold if you've never attended before. There will be multiple shows each night between 6 and 10p.

2) The second annual Beignet Festival will be held on Saturday, December 2 at City Park. Performers include Brass-A-Holics, John Papa Gros, and One Love Brass Band.

3) The New Orleans Jazz Museum is hosting the Big Easy Guitar Festival on Friday, December 1. Tommy Malone, Jimmy Robinson (video below), Cranston Clements, Tyler Clements, John Rankin, Phil deGruy, Chip Wilson, Paul Clement, Twangorama, and The NOLA Guitar Masters are included on the list of performers.

4) Ho ho ho! 'Tis the season. Krewe of Jingle rolls on Saturday, December 2 at 1p. The Algiers Bonfire will be held later that evening, from 5-8:30p. And the St. Louis Cathedral will continue their Christmas concert series with performances on Monday from Ellis Marsalis, Tuesday from Javier Olondo presents a Celebration of Latino Christmas Traditions, Wednesday from BeauSoleil, and Thursday with Opera Creole.

5) Leroy Jones will perform two free concerts on Saturday, December 2 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Center (1225 N. Rampart). Shows are at 8 and 9:30p.
