The second day of Jazz Fest saw sunny skies, even bigger crowds, and even a flash-mob style wedding!

The bride wore brass -- Brass Pass, that is!  WWOZ Brass Pass holders Rebecca Bohn and Tim Hufft Jr got married Saturday afternoon in front of the People's Health Economy Hall!  WWOZ was there to take photos and to break the story, which was tweeted and then re-tweeted almost immediately..

Congo Square Stage was a huge focal point for Saturday, with Khris Royal and Dark Matter, followed by Cheikh Lô of Senegal, then WWOZ's own DJ Soul Sister and then Cee-Lo Green, who brought in shoulder-to-shoulder crowds even farther away than you could see the stage.

Another massive crowd gathered for Jeremy Lyons and members of Morphine in the Blues Tent, as they resurrected that band's signature sound from its era with late singer Mark Sandman.  Later on this was followed by 'OZ favorite Walter "Wolfman" Washington, and then Bobby Rush and his singers and dancers, who generated some photos that have to be seen to be believed.  The Blues Stage day wrapped up with the Tribute to Wardell Querzergue featuring the Dixie Cups, Robert “Barefootin” Parker, and Tony Owens.

The Acura Stage was graced by the Voice of the Wetlands All-Stars, featuring a crowd-pleasing mix of featuring Tab Benoit, Dr. John,
Cyril Neville, Anders Osborne, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Johnny Vidacovich, Johnny Sansone, and Waylon Thibodeaux.

WWOZ live broadcasts included the Loyola University Jazz Ensemble and Peter Martin  (both in the Zatarain's/WWOZ Jazz Tent) and Jeremy Lyons and members of Morphine, as well as the Tribute to Wardell Querzergue (both in the Blues Tent).  Slavic Soul Party, from the Jazz & Heritage Tent, also aired.

WWOZ interviews included clarinet legend Evan Christopher, John Cleary, and pianist Tom McDermott.
