Beads, spears, footballs and frisbees flew off the 19 floats rolling through Chalmette and into the ready hands of spunky parade goers who braved a stiff breeze and bone chilling cold to catch the bounty, have some fun and work their winter look at the Knights of Nemesis' 7th annual parade Saturday. St. Bernard parish's sole carnival parade first rolled through decimated streets in 2006 as a rallying cry, and has evolved into a cherished tradition with a style all it's own.
