The 6' to 9' Social Aid and Pleasure Club's 7th annual Halloween parade rolled Saturday evening from the 6th to the 9th ward, passing out candy, homemade toys and sheer holiday fun to neighborhood chidren en route. This year's theme was: "The End of Times Marches On,". The parade was dedicated to Collins Anthony "Coach" Lewis, a longtime participant in the Fi Yi Yi, part of a lineup that included the Original Big 7 Social Aid and Pleasure Club (with the 21st Century Brass Band); the Northside Skill and Bones Gang; The Dr. Martin Luther King Charter School Marching Band; the Noisician Coalition; the New Birth Brass Band; the Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbaccus and more.
