Cleveland's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum on Lake Erie
Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is rocking and rolling this week, honoring two of New Orleans' most beloved musicians.

This year's installment of The Museum's American Masters Series, "Walking to New Orleans: The Music of Fats Domino and Dave Bartholomew" is the main attraction at the Hall this week, featuring many of Rhythm & Blues' greatest names ever.

Thursday night, the Hall of Fame presented "Fats and Dave: Their Heritage and Legacy", showcasing documentarian and film archivist Joe Lauro's collection of early New Orleans footage that set the stage for the the great clips of Domino and Bartholomew that followed. Lauro's movie brilliantly time traveled through the city and the musical influences that surrounded the honorees as they grew up in their hometown.

Special guests at the showing included Dave Bartholomew, Herbert Hardesty, Rick Coleman, John Broven, Ira "Dr. Ike" & Sam Padnos, and Amadee Castenell.

Friday, we'll be heading to the House of Blues for a night of music with Troy Andrews & the Rebirth Brass Band after a day at the museum. Stay tuned!
