Mardi Gras Indian / Katrina Anniversary

In observance of the anniversary of Katrina, New Orleans Mardi Gras Indians are having events all around town this weekend. These are the ones that I know of, I'm sure there are more. CALLING OUT ALL INDIANS !! On Saturday, Aug. 28, the Mardi Gras Indians Brothers & Sisters Assoc. will hold a drum circle @ 2p.m., underneath the Claiborne Ave. bridge across the street from the " Paradise Room ", 1460 N. Claiborne Ave. All Indians, drummers, percussionists, are incouraged to participate, all are welcome !!
