Tom, you played a piece today that took the top of my head off. It was Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" in about 10 minutes, with vocal sound effects and slang and was one of the greatest things I've heard at Christmas time. Unfortunately I missed who did that incredible piece. Can you please clue me in? I would love to be able to download it. Thanks.

That was the great Lord Buckley doing Scrooge. You shouldn't have a hard time finding it on CD and probably mp3. Don't just get Scrooge, his take on Poe's The Raven is a killer as it is much that he did. Most of it recorded in the early sixties.

Tom, thanks so much for your reply. I easily found several links on Lord Buckley, including both Scrooge and The Raven. As much as he has done, I am amazed that I am only just now learning about him. Thanks and a Happy New Year to you and yours!
