The free Treme Creole Gumbo Fest returns to Armstrong Park on Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13 with all sorts of delicious gumbo and fabulous live, local music. The festival runs 11a-7p each day and will feature some of the top brass bands in New Orleans today.

The world-famous, Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band will again headline the event. Also hitting the stage (and crowd!) will be the Hot 8,  To Be Continued, Original Pinettes (New Orleans only all-female brass band), New Breed, Soul Brass Band, and many more.

Gumbo will be available in a variety of styles including vegan. But there is plenty to be had for meat and fish lovers, including gumbo z’herbes, shrimp and oyster, chicken and andouille, Creole filé, dark roux, gluten-free, and more from the expanded 12-vendor food court.

The festival also features an art market and kids area.
