2) Fall in New Orleans starts in earnest this weekend as highs fall into the 70s and lows in the 50s-- a beautiful time of year to get outside and enjoy some live music! The 10th annual Oak St. Po Boy Fest is happening on Sunday, October 23, 10a-8p, with plenty of delicious food and lots of local music. Scheduled performers include Lost Bayou Ramblers, Honey Island Swamp Band, Los Po-Boy Citos, and Khris Royal & Dark Matter.

3) Krewe of Boo is rolling through the French Quarter and CBD on Saturday, October 22 starting at 6:30p. New Orleans “official Halloween parade” has impressively horrific floats. http://www.kreweofboo.com/

4) Black Men of Labor are stepping out on Sunday at 2p! They’ll start and end at Sweet Lorraine’s. Get the whole route sheet at WWOZ’s Takin’ It To The Streets.

5) We’ve had a fantastic amount of live video streams in recent weeks! Check ‘em out on our Facebook page and more coming up this week. You know we’ve got some of New Orleans finest in for each and every pledge drive. We bring you more live New Orleans music than anywhere else.
