Running of the Bulls happens July 8-10, 2016
San Fermin in Nueva Orleans the annual Encierro (bull run) festival in New Orleans, which pays homage to the world famous Encierro of Pamplona, Spain, or “The Running of the Bulls.” One small difference – the New Orleans "bulls" are the Big Easy Rollergirls and participants from other roller derby leagues across the country! As with most events in New Orleans, it's a visually rich experience. Here are a few photo highlights from recent years.
