As one of the founding fathers of rock & roll, Fats Domino is a true New Orleans music legend, and one of the few New Orleanians to have sold more than 65 million records.

On Thursday, March 12, at 7 p.m. (Central), Louisiana Public Broadcasting will air a documentary called Fats Domino: Walkin' Back to New Orleans, combining biographical info and interviews with Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas, Dr. John, Randy Newman, and more.

Interwoven throughout the show are performances of classic Fats songs like "Blueberry Hill," "Ain't That a Shame," and "Blue Monday," taken from a concert at Tipitina's here in New Orleans.

Be sure to catch the webcast live, as it is not currently scheduled for on-demand access. Don't miss this one-time showing on LPB's website, where you can also pick up a DVD copy of the program.
