On Saturday, April 12, guest artist Rickey E. Pittman will offer Irish storytelling and music for the young and the young at heart from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Irish Cultural Museum of New Orleans. The Monroe, Louisiana, performer will share excerpts from his Irish Alphabet Book and other works. There will be arts and crafts activities, plus face painting for children. Pittman was the featured storyteller at the North Texas Irish Festival this year and he returns to the museum for his second appearance during New Orleans’ French Quarter Festival. Pittman’s performance is included in admission to the museum: $5 for adults, free for museum members and for children 12 and under.
