"Mardi Gras 2012"

On this week’s program, to prepare for Mardi Gras 2012, we visit Blaine Kern aka Mr. Mardi Gras, sample King Cakes from two bakeries (Cake Café and Croissant D'Or), and catch up with the Phunny Phorty Phellows as they kick off Carnival season on January 6th, 2012.  The music on this week’s program includes the Hot 8 Brass Band, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Cyril Neville and many more.

hi
my name is Jan Nicolai
i`m from Germany behind Frankfurt.
I am 15 years old.
I play trumpet, Euphonium,flugelhorn and i will learn Posaune.
I like jazz music and dixieland music.
I've been playing 10 years trumpet.
they make really good music.
