8-10pm | A Night of Brazilian Music!

Featuring a vast repertoire of Brazilian Music spanning from early 1920’s to present day. Two New Orlean’s very own ensembles Buku do Choro and Cristina Kaminis will present an array of styles from early 1920’s Choro, to Samba, Bossa Nova, Brazilian Jazz and Forro.

Opening band - Buku do Choro is a New Orlean’s instrumental trio of clarinet performed by Rosalynn De Roos, 7 string guitar performed by Bruno Elisabetsky and drums performed by Fernando Lima.  Since 2021 Buku do Choro has performed throughout New Orleans delighting audiences with playful melodies and infectious grooves!

Featured Band - Cristina Kaminis and her ensemble will perform beautiful songs of the Brazilian music repertoire as well as perform her very own originals.  This talented vocalist hailing from NYC has been based here in New Orleans since 2020 - creating a space for global jazz in the New Orleans music scene.
