STOP THE VIOLENCE
WWOZ continues to send healing prayers to our colleague Deborah Cotton, cultural activist, writer and founder of www.neworleansgoodgood.com, who was seriously wounded in the May 12 Mother's Day shooting and has a lengthy recovery ahead of her. Please donate directly to help Deb with her ongoing recovery costs.
WWOZ encourages everyone in New Orleans and around the world to continue to support our special New Orleans traditions, like second line parades, since they offer concrete positive alternatives to the culture of violence that is engulfing our community.
