Tulane Band Day, September 7

DATE
Sat, Sep 7, 2013
TIME
2:30pm - 6:00pm

Tulane's 5th annual Band Day happens on September 7, when the Green Wave takes on South Alabama. Invitations go out hundreds of school and community bands across Southeast Louisiana. Last year our participation numbers doubled from approximately 200 student musicians to more than 400.

The feature song this year will be "It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)". The band day performance will also feature guest artists "The National World War II Museum Victory Big Band".

In addition to the TUMB, last year's halftime show included the University of Louisiana Monroe Marching Band, the Chalmette High School Marching Band, the Dominican High School Marching Band, the Harry Hurst Middle School Band, the Ridgewood Prep Band, the JB Martin Middle School Band, the Patrick F Taylor High School Marching Band, the Rayne High School Marching Band, the St. James High School Marching Band, and the Roots of Music.
