NOLA Pico Party – A Colombian Sound System Celebration for National Hispanic Heritage Month

Join us as we celebrate Afro-Latin musical heritage with two local DJ crews: Tropical Sound System and Sonido Bestial, two vinyl-only DJ groups spinning deep crates of African, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, Latin grooves, and vintage dancefloor heat. Tropical Sound System features local DJs Dub Insurgent and Carol C, while Sonido Bestial features Yeyo and Shabbakano. Expect an electric atmosphere inspired by the legendary Pico parties of Colombia’s northern coast — where sound systems, color, and community collide.
