World premiere! Check out this super cute and beautifully animated video from Katy Hobgood Ray & the Confetti Park Players for 'Feufollet.' This song is from their album We’re Going to Confetti Park, a whimsical, magical CD of original children’s songs inspired by life in Louisiana. The video was animated by Santiago Germano and Gustavo Wenzel.

"'Feufollet' is the one 'spooky' song on our CD and is one of my favorites—it seemed the ideal one to animate, because it talks about supernatural spirits living in the swamp," Ray shared. "When I perform this song live with the Confetti Park Players, the children sing with me and sound like little swamp spirits themselves. They also do a dance with finger lights. It's very cute."

The musicians featured on this track are Rick G. Nelson, bass; Sarah Quintana, background vocals and fae giggles; Katy Ray, vocals; Tim Robertson, guitar; Dr. Sick, violin, musical saw, toy piano; and Dylan Field Turner, broom and other percussion. Other local musicians featured on the CD include Johnny Vidacovich, Jon-Erik Kellso, Evan Christopher, Matt Perrine, Patti Adams, Beth Patterson, Tom McDermott, Roger Lewis, David Rosser, Brian Coogan, Tim Robertson, and more. They take a break from their usual fare to sing about pirates, frogs, snoballs, and Candy Land balls with the Confetti Park Players.

You can catch Katy Hobgood Ray & the Confetti Park Players at the Creole Tomato Festival's Kids Stage on June 11 at 12:30p.
