1) Christmas is on Tuesday and some of our show hosts will be sharing the songs of the season, WWOZ style! Listen live, or check out our New Orleans holiday music playlist on YouTube. Or listen in on our 2-week archive. Sally Young had a festive show on Thursday morning, Michael Dominici followed up with more on the New Orleans Music Show, and the Creeper played even more. Ho ho ho!

3) The New Orleans Jazz Museum continues their Wednesday series, bringing the Drumsville! exhibit to life, with Johnny Vidacovich in a discussion of New Orleans Drumming and Percussion this week. Vidacovich has played since the early 1970s with Astral Project and has become renowned as a prominent and sought after New Orleans musician. This event is free and open to the public. 

4) Big Sam is hosting his annual Christmas Jam at Tipitina's this Saturday, along with Myron Thomas.
